Client Questions

Launching SpirePoint Palm Beach Gardens

How will the launch of your new firm affect me directly?

First and foremost, you will continue to benefit from our investment management process and wealth planning to help you safeguard and grow your financial assets in order to fulfill lifestyle needs and legacy aspirations.

Access to a Broader Thought Leadership Environment:
SpirePoint Private Client is not limited to offering thought leadership and advice from just one institution. This enables us to tap into top-tier research and advice from a diverse range of financial partners, with the aim of fulfilling the evolving needs of your family.

Exceptional Client Service:
With your best interests as our only agenda, we will continue to act as a fiduciary. We take a multigenerational service approach in order to develop a genuine consideration of your values and objectives as we help create your long-lasting legacy.

What will change?

Our goal is to offer an elevated, private client experience that is enabled through the use of a multi-custodial platform and suite of enhanced services. Your account holdings and fees will remain unchanged. However, an important decision underlying the launch of SpirePoint is our selection of Goldman Sachs as our primary custodian. Goldman Sachs is one of the largest and most trusted financial services firms in the industry, and we chose them for their technology, research, investment and service capabilities. The transfer of your accounts to Goldman Sachs will not create a taxable event.

Why wasn’t I told sooner about your decision to launch your own firm?

We would have preferred the chance to discuss our plans with you earlier, but legal obligations and contractual limitations barred us from doing so. As investment professionals, we are dedicated to upholding such agreements, despite the personal difficulty of not being able to converse with you ahead of time. We trust you understand our commitment to follow the industry’s rules.

How do I know my assets will be safe with the new custodian?

The safety and security of your assets is of critical importance to us. With that in mind, and after a rigorous due diligence process, we selected Goldman Sachs and as our custodian based on their technology, research, investment and service capabilities.

Drawing off of the company’s 150+ years of experience, Goldman Sachs Custody Solutions shares four core values with SpirePoint, namely their commitment to Client Service, Excellence, Integrity and Partnership.

Will the way you manage money change in any way?

The fundamental approaches we employ for managing your assets will remain consistent, and naturally, our investment management solutions will always be customized to suit your risk tolerance, time horizon, and long-term goals. However, we will be expanding our access to a wider range of investment products, opportunities and thought leadership, as mentioned in Question 1.

What about my existing banking services?

You typically will not have to relocate your banking accounts as a part of a transition to our new firm. We can work on your behalf to scout the marketplace for options that are on par with or superior to your existing ones, if necessary. We can guide you towards a suitable banking relationship that specifically meets your needs, be it with a local, regional, or national bank.

How will I view and access my assets once they transition to my new accounts?

You will be able to view your assets by utilizing the Client Login section of our new website, www.spirepointpc.com. Once you log in, you will have the same type of access to all of your accounts and the ability to utilize services as you have been accustomed to.

OUR SERVICES

What is a Family Office?

Family offices are often created to manage all aspects of a family’s wealth and business. SpirePoint’s Family Office offers the services of a traditional family office—investment management, tax planning, trust reporting, and more—without the complexity or cost of managing a separate entity. We scale these services to suit your family's specific needs.

Do I need to move my accounts to work with SpirePoint?

No. SpirePoint can advise on assets held outside of our custodians, providing services such as investment reviews, due diligence, and consolidated reporting to simplify your financial picture.

What is SpirePoint’s investment philosophy?

We aim to help clients achieve their financial goals with minimal risk. SpirePoint’s approach focuses on maximizing risk-adjusted, after-tax returns while reducing costs and complexity. Each portfolio is tailored to individual objectives and risk preferences.

How should I prepare for an economic recession?

Market cycles are unpredictable, but a well-thought-out, long-term strategy can help weather economic downturns. SpirePoint works with you to align your portfolio with your risk tolerance, time horizon, and both short- and long-term goals.
